Pentecost 2012

Celebrate the season of the Spirit! The Day of Pentecost is the crowning day of Easter, the day the apostles were filled with the Holy Spirit and empowered to share the gospel with people of different languages.

Youth

 Youth Programs

Junior and Senior High Youth Group

We'll be here every week this year.  Come join us from 5 pm to 7 pm at the church for games, Bible study and worship.  You can stay in touch with us thru e-mail, youth.stpaulsbrookield@gmail.com or by becoming a fan of St. Paul's OWN on Facebook.

Leaders: Patrick O'Connors and Lindsay Sweeting

Summer MissionSummer MissionAll youth involved in the Senior and Junior High youth groups are invited to participate in short term missions. In the past, Saint Paul’s has worked through a variety of established youth mission organizations to coordinate these trips.

About every third year, we send our Senior High youth on a two-week backpack adventure in the Adirondacks with an organization based at Gordon College, known as La Vida (think Outward Bound, but with a Christian underpinning). La Vida will spiritually challenge and encourage your teenager to discover his/her life-long need for God as their strength.

Winter RetreatsEach winter (February/March) our junior and senior high go to Jaffrey, New Hampshire for a weekend snow retreat, featuring inspirational and challenging speakers, a lot of fun, indoor pool, endless games, good worship, and strong fellowship.

Confirmation ClassEvery other year, students in the ninth grade and older are invited to join the confirmation class. Preparation for confirmation includes a two-month class, and a day-long retreat with the rector and youth leaders. The bishop comes for confirmation in the fall of even numbered years.
