Lent begins in ashes. On Ash Wednesday we are reminded of our mortality and sin. It is not a time for groveling; rather, it is a time for reality, for genuine humility, for repentance and forgiveness and renewed commitment to following the ways of Jesus. Lent is a season of preparation.

"Sword of the Spirit" Each month St. Paul's communicates with its members and friends through the monthly "Sword of the Spirit." It opens with a monthly message from our Priest-in-Charge, Fr. Shepley and contains the calendar for the month, several ministry schedules, educational articles and a summary of the most recent Vestry meeting.
