Lent 2012

Lent begins in ashes. On Ash Wednesday we are reminded of our mortality and sin. It is not a time for groveling; rather, it is a time for reality, for genuine humility, for repentance and forgiveness and renewed commitment to following the ways of Jesus. Lent is a season of preparation.

2011 Vacation Bible School - July 18-22

In just a few weeks, we are taking a journey back to bible times to Nazareth when Jesus was a child.  Kids will sing, dance (listen to sample songs by clicking on the links below), make fun crafts, play games, take a trip to the market and have a fun snack each day!   Plus, there is always a surprise finale on Friday that you won't want to miss.

We will spend a whole week in Nazareth, Monday, July 18th - Friday, July 22nd from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm.

All children entering Kindergarten through 5th grade are welcome. Those 6th grade and up are encouraged to sign-up as volunteers.

Cost is just $15 per child. Families registering three or more siblings will pay a maximum of $30. Scholarships are available if needed.

To sign up, please complete the registration form on the back side of the pamphlet (one per child, please) and return to our Parish Office at 174 Whisconier Road, Brookfield, CT 06804.

We are also seeking adult & teenage volunteers! Please contact Marie Williams or Jennifer Falci if you are interested:
